If you’re looking for an al fresco drinking spot in the heart of the West End, The Wigmore is the place to escape to. This summer, The Wigmore has partnered with Plymouth Gin to transform its courtyard into a botanical gin garden, boasting greenery and refreshing summer cocktails.
Offering an array of cocktails that taste of summer in a glass, the terrace pays homage to the newly-launched Plymouth Gin Fruit Cup. If sweet flavours are your preferred tipple, this cocktail is perfect for you, thanks to its delicious blend of premium fruit liqueurs and Ginger Ale with Plymouth Gin.
Open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings until September, the Garden will also be home to the notorious ‘Glug Jug’; a quirky fish vessel used by the navy since the 19thCentury, it has become an iconic part of the Plymouth Gin drinking experience. To continue to celebrate the heritage of this gin jug, a sharable Garden Glug Punch has been created combining Plymouth Gin, apricot, jasmine green tea, cucumber and Perrier-Jouët Champagne.
For those eager to learn more about the history and botanicals of Plymouth Gin, there is the chance to book into a hosted Botanical Lab masterclass. Taking you on an educational and interactive journey, you will be able to blend your very own gin drawing upon the seven botanical ingredients that have been a part of the brand since 1793.
