If you're seeking a way to escape the long wintery days, let aqua nueva transport you to southern Spain for an evening inspired by the annual Jerez Festival in Andalusia. Think enchanting flamenco dancing, fine wines and a delicious four-course menu of Spanish favourites.
For those not familiar with the festival, it takes place from 23rd February to 10th March and showcases the art of flamenco and Spanish dance with a series of exhibitions and events. aqua’s take on the occasion will take place in their private dining rooms, and will be hosted by Peter Wallbridge, Enotria & Coe’s Spanish Wine Buyer. Food will be served by Head Chef Yahir Gonzalez, and includes black seafood aioli croquettes, marinated crab, avruga caviar, cucumber & avocado ice cream, 24 hour marinated oxtail, aged beef fillet, sherry sauce, wild mushrooms and a sweet treat for dessert.
The evening will end with a passionate performance by the duo, Canela Fina!, a traditional flamenco dancer with a Spanish guitarist who will perform. Dancing is optional.
The Jerez Festival Dinner will take place on the 28th February, 18:30 - 21:30. Please find the full menu and booking details here. Tickets are £55.
