The father of modern winemaking in Argentina, Jose “Pepe” Galante, is set to visit Gaucho Piccadilly this September for an unmissable wine dinner.
On 18th September, for one night only, Pepe will be sharing some of his most coveted vintages for guests to taste, including the much-loved Primus Malbec. Starting at 7pm, guests will be welcomed to the evening by Gaucho’s expert wine ambassador Andrew Maidment – alongside a glass of Alyda van Salentine Brut.
Following the introduction, the evening will take place in Gaucho’s stunning private dining room, where Pepe will be on hand to guide guests through the pairing menu and share the story behind his vineyard.
If this doesn’t already sounds like a wine lover’s dream evening, the experience includes a carefully paired five course dinner of delectable Gaucho dishes. The likes of yellowtail tiradito will be paired with a Salentein single vineyard chardonnay 2010 (Vintage) and Gaucho’s signature fillet steak with two different years of the Numina Gran Corte.
