The Regent Street RIBA Windows competition is returning for its eighth year, bringing together the best emerging and established architects from The Royal Insitiute of British Architects and seven of Regent Street’s retailers, including Jo Malone London, L’Occitane and lululemon, to create a series of unique shop windows this spring. The pairings have been developed to bring to life the ethos, purpose and identities of the brands with creative visual installations across all their Regent Street windows.
The architects and retailers are currently collaborating on the design concepts for this year’s displays, which will be unveiled on Monday 23rd April 2018.
The RIBA Regent Street Windows competition will culminate in an awards ceremony on 24th May and this year, there will be two awards – Best Collaboration and The People’s Choice. The former will be decided by a panel of judges from the worlds of architecture and design, such as Jane Duncan, Director of Jane Duncan Architects and Ellie Stathaki, Architecture Editor at Wallpaper* magazine, and the latter chosen by you.
The RIBA Windows project will launch on 23rd April 2018, with voting open for the People’s Choice award from 23rd April until 13th May on regentstreetonline.com, including a chance to win a £100 Regent Street gift card.
Winners will be announced on 24th May 2018 on the Regent Street Online and our social channels, Regent Street on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
