Completely free to attend, the four day festival transformed London once again with various awe-inspiring light installations created by both renowned and up and coming international artists.
Originating in Durham, Lumiere travelled to London for the first time in January 2016. Produced by leading arts charity Artichoke, Lumiere brings to life artwork made using the medium of light. Using this medium, the festival explores the city’s most iconic buildings, landscape and architecture. This year was no exception with Lumiere providing a canvas for artists from across the UK, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain and Canada amongst others, to showcase their stunning and unique work.
This year Lumiere took place on 18th – 21st January, which saw Regent Street reimagined into a shining spectacular.
