The UK Asian Film Festival will return to Regent Street Cinema from the 29th March - 3rd April, to celebrate the theme of Revolution.
Now in its 21st year, the UK Asian Film Festival shines a spotlight onto the Asian film scene. Regent Street Cinema will be hosting a number of screenings, talks and guest speakers throughout the duration of the festival, including the likes of:
- 29th March, 19.00: Ek Aasha. Followed by a Q&A with the film’s Director and Cast after the screening
- 30th March, 14.00: The Business of Making Films Discussion & Networking Event
- 30th March, 16.30: The European Premiere of Tashi Followed by a Q&A with lead actor Charan Singh and lead actress Tania Mukherjee after the screening
- 30th March, 19.15: Even When I Fall Followed by a panel discussion chaired by Mr Tony Matharu after the screening
- 31st March, 13.30: Dear Molly Followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, producer and actor Christer Holmgren after the screening
- 31st March, 16.00: Vardaniya Beti Ek Vardaan Followed by a Q&A with the film team after the screening
- 31st March, 19.00: House of My Fathers
- 1st April, 19.00: Noblemen
- 2nd April, 15.30: Raghu Rai, An Unframed Portrait
- 2nd April, 18.00: Half Songs
- 3rd April, 18.30: Evening Shadows
