National Burger Day: Five of the Best Burgers on Regent Street

With ‘National Burger Day’ hitting the capital on 25th August, we round up the top five places to find a premium patty on Regent Street.

Heddon Street Kitchen, 3-9 Heddon Street

Gordon Ramsay knows his food, and so do the incredible team at his laid-back eatery Heddon Street Kitchen. Its plump shortrib beef burger includes melted Monterey Jack cheese, crispy bacon, salad and a dollop of ketchup in a homemade bun, all served with triple cooked chips. We recommend saving room for the incredible ice cream bar that’s hidden upstairs too.

ICE BAR LONDON, 31-33 Heddon Street

Chill out – quite literally – with the ever popular ICE BAR LONDON burger available in its restaurant and warm bar. Served with a slice of Lincolnshire Poacher, a generous dollop of onion slaw and triple cooked chips all for £13, it’s the perfect dish to warm you up after a heady cocktail in the breath-taking ice bar.

Brasserie Zédel, 20 Sherwood Street

For a more refined take on the crowd-pleaser, choose Brasserie Zédel’s ‘Steak Haché, Sauce au Poivre et Frites’ – a delicious meat patty seasoned to perfection and topped with a shallot and black pepper sauce. Available as part of the ‘Prix Fixe’ menu serving two courses for £ 9.75 or three for £12.75 you can indulge guilt free too. Bon appétit!

AUBAINE, 4 Heddon Street

Aubaine offers authentic taste and minimum fuss with its delicious, signature burger. Simplicity in its finest form, the patty is made from premium sliced filet de boeuf and served in a brioche bun alongside a portion of rustic chips. Looking for that extra ‘je ne sais quoi’? It’s also served with a helping of Aubaine’s homemade slaw and decadent honey and truffle mayonnaise. Heavenly.

MASH, 77 Brewer Street

Burger fans will adore the authenticity of MASH’s premium, totally moreish, burger. Homemade from steak offcuts for a tender, meaty texture, the patty is paired with melted cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and a sweet onion ring, all nestled between a soft bun and oozing with your choice of chilli mayo, American mustard or ketchup. Served with a generous helping of chilli fries, it’s pure mouth-watering indulgence for £17.

Did we say five? We've thrown in a final perfect patty for all the veggies out there from a Heddon Street favourite.

tibits, 12-14 Heddon Street

Veggies need not miss out on the fun of National Burger Day, as tibits caters for vegetarians and vegans with the flavoursome quinoa burger - healthy hedonism in its most delicious form.
