Ever wondered what a vertical living meadow looks like? Now, thanks to The Crown Estate, you can find out at Morley House, their latest development on Regent Street.
The living wall helps to beautify the development’s exterior as well as providing a habitat for wildlife. A move endorsed by the London Wildlife Trust, the meadow has been created using a special seed mix designed in collaboration with the Regent Street team that ensures it will contribute to the biodiversity of the area.
This temporary living meadow has been carefully crafted to grow and transform throughout each season, and will become home to flowering plants and high pollen species in order to support local wildlife such as bees and insects. The vertical meadow technology will feature the likes of wild strawberries, cornflowers and night flowering catchfly and promises to be a stunning place for local residents, workers and visitors to enjoy.
