Coming to 173 Regent Street for the month of June, a short walk from Oxford Circus, the view from there brings together film and video artworks from around the globe, selected by international art curators and museum directors, bringing to life their specific global locations in an inspiring exhibition in central London this summer.
Reframing ‘zoom fatigue’, this exhibition shines a light on stories from a year of virtual connections with family, friends and colleagues through streaming, TikTok and Instagram stories and all the other windows into the world that have made our local environments global.
The result is a must-see summer exhibition, bringing together twenty-eight artists whose moving image artwork reflects their specific location, anywhere in the world. A step into the pop-up gallery is a step into local secrets, reflections on the last year, environmental challenges and personal reflections, giving visitors a window into innovation, resilience and compassion around the world.
